Harris Lowry Manton Wins Top Personal Injury Litigation Department for the Southeast in 2023

Harris Lowry Manton won the Southeastern Legal Awards’ Litigation Department of the Year, Personal Injury. The Southeastern Legal Awards honorees are selected by Law.com and Atlanta-based legal publication The Daily Report's editors and reporters. Winners and finalists were announced April 18 and the award ceremony will be held on June 20 in Atlanta. The awards covered firms from Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. 

Harris Lowry Manton was one of three Litigation Department of the Year winners announced, and the only winner for the Personal Injury category. 

The Atlanta- and Savannah-based firm obtained four of the top verdicts in Georgia in 2023 in the areas of trucking, medical malpractice, road defect and wrongful death, winning a combined total of more than $82 million from juries across the state, including three of the top 10 verdicts. 

According to the website Verdict Search, an online data base maintained by Law.com with over 200,000 reported cases nationwide, Harris Lowry Manton had four cases that were in the top 20 verdicts in Georgia for 2023 which included Georgia’s largest trucking verdict in 2023 and the largest verdict against a governmental entity in Georgia in 2023.
