National American Legion Commander visits Savannah

The American Legion had a very special guest Monday, National Commander Daniel Seehafer. As part of his national tour, he stopped in Savannah to promote his mission called “THE ONE”.
“THE ONE” is the commander Seehafer’s mission to bring awareness to prevent veteran suicide. He says that over the years the numbers of veteran suicide deaths are skewed because so many veteran deaths are ruled accidents. That is why he wants to open that conversation.
