The Richmond Hill YMCA is set to announce the unveiling of its latest innovation in health and fitness technology: EGYM. A celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Monday, April 29 promises to be a memorable event, showcasing the future of fitness in our community.

The festivities will start at noon with a warm YMCA welcome featuring a photo booth, live music by the talented Katherine Kincaid, delectable appetizers, and the PUPUSERIA Jireh food truck offering mouthwatering Latin-style options for purchase. Guests can also enjoy refreshing mocktails crafted by a local mixologist.

At 12:30 pm, the program will begin with several speakers including Summer Beal, President/CEO of the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce, Kristi Cox, Mayor Pro Tem of Richmond Hill, and Joel Smoker, CEO of YMCA of Coastal Georgia, which will be followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting and unveiling of the new state-of-the -art EGYM space inside the Y.

Following the formalities, guests will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the cutting-edge EGYM technology with live demonstrations starting at 12:45 pm. Attendees will be invited to try out the EGYM system, possibly pick up some EGYM/YMCA swag, and engage with knowledgeable YMCA trainers who will be on hand to answer questions.

In addition to the demo, attendees will have the chance to win prizes through a survey raffle for EGYM, including a three-month gym membership and a gym/athletic basket.

"We are so excited to finally bring EGYM to the Richmond Hill community," remarked Stefani Mosquera, Executive Branch Director of the Richmond Hill YMCA. "This revolutionary system has already transformed fitness and positively impacted lives in other branches in our association across Coastal Georgia. Introducing EGYM at our branch aligns perfectly with the YMCA's mission to promote health and well-being for all."

Mary Arocha, Senior Vice President, added, "EGYM-which is only available at the YMCA- represents the future of fitness, combining cutting-edge technology with the Y's commitment to inclusivity and community. We are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our members here in Richmond Hill, as we have seen amazing results in our other EGYM outfitted branches.”

Exclusively available in Coastal Georgia at the Y, EGYM is a state-of-the-art digital fitness platform designed to personalize and optimize workouts for users of all fitness levels. Its intuitive interface and data-driven approach empower individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals efficiently and effectively like no other fitness system has ever done before.

The ribbon cutting event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to join in the celebration of this significant milestone for the greater Bryan County, the Richmond Hill YMCA and the community it serves.
