Fairgrounds Rezoning Petition Approved

A Savannah councilmember confirmed the Metropolitan Planning Commission is moving forward with plans to rezone the Coastal Empire fairgrounds.
District 5 Alderwoman Dr. Estella Shabazz told WTOC that they unanimously approved the rezoning petition to change site’s zoning from parks and recreation to planned development tonight.
