Safer Streets Savannah: Chatham Parkway Bridge to Receive Updates Starting Friday

Traffic and the condition of our streets are something nearly all of us are impacted by across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. On Tuesday, we continue our Safer Streets Savannah projects on Chatham Parkway lane closures going onto I-16, which is a part of the Georgia Dept. of Transportation’s I-16 and I-95 interchange improvement plans.
Starting this Friday, left-hand turns from Chatham Parkway onto I-16 will be closed at night. Crews will be working on these single-lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
