CrowdStrike Outage Affects Online Motor Vehicle Renewals and Tag Renewal Kiosks in Chatham County

 The Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office announced earlier today that online motor vehicle renewals and vehicle tag renewal kiosks at Kroger and Publix locations across Chatham County have been impacted by the CrowdStrike outage that has disrupted electronic systems nationwide.

At this time, there is no confirmed date or time when the Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office motor vehicle renewal system and vehicle tag renewal kiosks at Kroger and Publix stores will be back online and available for customer use. The Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office will share additional updates as soon as information is available.

In the meantime, Chatham County residents can continue to pay property tax bills and conduct property tax businesses online at tax.chathamcountyga.govor at any of the following Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s Office locations during regular business hours:

Downtown Office

222 W. Oglethorpe Ave., Suite 107

Southside Office:

1145 Eisenhower Dr.

Westside Office:

295 Police Memorial Drive (off Chatham Parkway)

 In addition, the following satellite office are open for property tax-related business by appointment during limited hours:

Wilmington Island Satellite Office:

Port Wentworth Satellite Office:
