"Fiesta Latina con Sabor a Carnival” - a Latin party with a Carnival Flavor celebrating Latin culture, music, and dance hosted by Ana Belkys Glen and Lisette Riccelli, will be held on July 27th at 9pm at Elan Savannah located at 301 Williamson Street, Savannah GA.

Lisette Riccelli, known for her work with Agenda Latina, has joined forces with her sister Ana Belkys Glen to showcase the vibrant traditions of Latin culture in Savannah. “Founded in 2013 and hosted 8 times since then, our vision is to emphasize the cultural ties that bind us through music and dance, featuring performances by four internationally renowned artists. We are incredibly grateful to Elan Savannah for their support in preserving and promoting our traditions," remarks Lisette Riccelli.

Ana Belkys Glen, the president of the organization and the queen of the Carnival of Barranquilla in Savannah since the tradition's inception in 2013, encapsulated the spirit of the evening with the famous words, "Life is a carnival - Life is a big party," echoing the sentiments of Celia Cruz's iconic song.

The Barranquilla Colombia sisters hope the lively event will underscore the joy and cultural richness that Latinos bring to our community through music and dance and will continue to promote these values not only among Latinos but for everyone who seeks to experience the infectious joy of their cultural heritage.

A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to the Barranquilla Carnival organization in Savannah, dedicated to fostering authentic cultural groups rooted in the Barranquilla Carnival, recognized as a UNESCO Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
