The Metropolitan Savannah Rotary Club recently inducted the 2024-2025 board directors and club president Kristen Crawley at the July 16 meeting. This year’s board leadership includes a balance of founding and newer members as the club prepares for its 15-year legacy project.

Kristen Crawley, an Atlanta native, found a sense of community through “Metro” Savannah Rotary when she moved to Savannah 14 years ago. She is honored to be named club president and stated, “Rotary was one of the first organizations I joined, and I never imagined the connections and impact this club would have in my life and this community.”

Crawley is passionate about the impact Metro Savannah Rotary has on its service partners and the relationships one builds while participating in the club. The Metro Savannah Rotary Club members dedicate hundreds of service hours yearly to nonprofit organizations. “The focus this year is for us to be FUN-ctional. I’m focused on ensuring our club serves our community effectively and has fun doing it,” Crawley said.

Crawley has been an active member of Metro Savannah Rotary and was one of the first inducted members. She has served on the Metro board as service chair twice, president-elect, and now president. A proud Georgia Southern graduate, Crawley holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with an emphasis in Spanish. She and her husband Jake are grateful to call Savannah home.
