Savannah Italian Ristorante Closing 'Effective Immediately'

The owners of the Savannah Italian eatery, La Scala Ristorante, announced they've closed down effective immediately.
In a post to Facebook, restauranteurs Donald Lubowicki and Jeffrey Downey say they're making the announcement, "with great sadness." Their last day of service was Friday, June 28.
