Emily McCarthy recently celebrated the grand opening of her signature shoppe on Victory Drive. Designed by Lynch Architects, JTVS Builders completed construction on the 14,000 square foot building, which includes an expanded retail shoppe, office space, and a warehouse for the brand’s fulfillment center.  

The new facility is one of a kind for Savannah – embracing the concept of providing an environment where retail is mixed with an event space and wine/coffee bar, affectionately noted as The Joy Club.

Founder and Creator Emily McCarthy notes, “Our brand mission was designed to invite joy into our lives through creativity, community and confidence in style. Whether you’re giving a gift, celebrating life’s occasions or making memories with your family and friends, our store was designed to help our customers bring this to life.”

Founded in 2009, Emily McCarthy currently ships to over 400 retailers and reaches at least 48 states within the USA. Her signature brand of clothing and gift items are staples of the shoppe in addition to new lines that build upon the lifestyle brand including home goods, accessories, and an area specifically related to younger shoppers and named after her daughter, “The Lil Shoppe.”

Emily’s signature designs are present throughout the shoppe and adding those details within the interior space was extremely important to both she and interior designer Kelly Caron.

 “It was important to me that this space reflects joy and community,” continues McCarthy. “Our brand has evolved immensely over the past five years, and we are thrilled to show Savannah who we have become and invite them to join in our journey.”
