Omega Construction, in collaboration with Ideal Hospitality, OM Design Solutions, Stability Engineering, TLC Engineering Solutions, and Coleman Company, Inc. proudly announces the groundbreaking of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott, a state-of-the-art hotel at 2002 Chatham Drive. This 68,000-square-foot project represents a significant milestone in the ongoing development of the 1-16/Chatham Parkway corridor in Savannah, Georgia.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held on August 14, 2024, signifies the start of construction on what will become a key asset in Savannah’s hospitality landscape. The new TownePlace Suites by Marriott is expected to contribute to the local economy by creating jobs and attracting visitors to the area.

With TownePlace Suites recently celebrating the opening of its 500^th location in North America, this 5-story hotel will offer 112 guest rooms with a wide variety of studio and one-bedroom suites all with fully equipped kitchens, perfect for business and family alike. Additional amenities include:
