Tybee Fire’s Medical License Lapses, Community Still Receiving Medical Care from Chatham EMS

Georgia State Health Department records show Tybee Island Fire’s EMS license has been expired since the end of July. Now the city is working to get this issue fixed as soon as it can.
Over the phone, Tybee Island Mayor Brian West explained that an employee who is no longer with the city was working on the renewal paperwork—but it was never finished.
