Coastal Care Partners Announces Upcoming Educational Events

Coastal Care Partners recently announced several upcoming educational events related to various health initiatives. During the month of October, they will hold three different events in collaboration with local partners to address prevention and treatment regarding health concerns. 

Events include: 

  • St. Joseph’s/Candler Mobile Mammography Service Operation at Coastal Care Partners between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Located at 4 Skidaway Island Village Walk, Suite B - the Mobile Mammography unit will be able to provide onsite 2D and 3D Mammograms. 

  • Coastal Care Partners Co-Founder Amy Pierce and Member Concierge Tonya Hillis will co-host a webinar on Tuesday, October 1st at 1:00 p.m. about the importance of Advanced Care Planning. During the webinar, Amy and Tonya will explain the significance of POLST forms and Advanced Directives, helping participants understand how to take control of your health decisions.

  • Coastal Care Partners and Expert Hearing will co-host an event at the Palmetto Club at The Landings on October 9th at 5:00 p.m. to discuss “Unlocking the Mysteries on Dementia.” This informative evening will be dedicated to understanding the effects of dementia and include a panel of experts who will provide valuable insights into the latest treatments, the consequences of untreated dementia, and how to support loved ones facing this challenge. Esteemed speakers will include retired neurologist Dr. Richard Bodziner, Dr. Sanjay Iyer, an Emergency Medicine Physician at Memorial Health and Chief Medical Officer of Coastal Care Partners, and Dr. Susan Timna and Dr. Cori Palmer, Doctors of Audiology and co-owners of Expert Hearing.
