Georgia Tech-Savannah Announces 2024-25 Saturday STEAMlabs for Students
Monday, September 16th, 2024
Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science
Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) at the Savannah campus is excited to offer its 2024-25
Saturday STEAMlabs, a program for students in first through twelfth grades. Every Saturday
class will run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 28, Oct. 19, Nov. 16, and in 2025 on Jan. 11,
Feb. 1, and March 8 at the Georgia Tech Savannah Campus, 190 Technology Circle.
The Saturday STEAMlabs offer an opportunity for students who are interested in exploring more
about science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Each session aims to
develop a student’s curiosity and enthusiasm for these areas. By participating in experiments,
hands on learning, projects, and more, students experience how learning and fun go together as
they undertake problem-solving, challenges, and cooperative activities.
“We are dedicated to providing an enriching, learning experience that goes beyond the
classroom,” said CEISMC Savannah Program Director Tim Cone. “Our goal is that these Saturday STEAMlabs offered from Fall to Spring will ignite a passion for every student that
walks through our doors.”
Registration is $60 per student for each Saturday STEAMlabs. We invite students, educators,
and parents to learn more about the opportunities available. For information about these
STEAMlabs or to register, please visit www.savannah.ceismc.gatech.edu/stemlabs.
