HunterMaclean Welcomes Four New Associates

HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, is pleased to announce the recent addition of four new associates, all of whom previously served as summer associates with the firm last year:

Luckshume Ketheeswaran joins the Litigation and Employment practice groups. She holds a B.A. in English from North Carolina State University and earned her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law, where she was involved with the Mercer Law Review and Phi Delta Phi. She previously interned with the Eastern Circuit Public Defender’s Office in Savannah and Carle Foundation Hospital in Illinois.

Shante Ruffin joins the firm’s Real Estate group. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University and earned her J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law, where she was involved with in the Black Law Students Association and the Wellness in the Law Society. Shante previously worked as a legal production assistant with Elizabeth Gallo Court Reporting and was involved with the Gwinnett Legal Aid Probate Clinic and the Georgia Free Legal Answers Help-a-thon.

Freddy Stroud joins the Real Estate and Estate Planning groups in the firm’s St. Simons office. He earned his J.D. from UGA School of Law, where he was active in the Student Bar Association and the Business Law Society. Freddy also holds dual degrees in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining HunterMaclean, he worked as a licensed investment specialist at Merrill Edge and interned as an analyst with Merrill Lynch.

Zoe Taylor joins the firm’s Real Estate group. She earned a B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia, followed by her J.D. from UGA School of Law. While in law school, Zoe served on the Editorial Board for the Georgia Law Review and co-led the Transactional Law Club. She previously worked as a summer law clerk with NowackHoward, LLC in Atlanta and an application file reader for the UGA Office of Admissions.
