Bank OZK Donates $5,000 to Support SBAC’s Credit Building Program

The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) received a $5,000 donation from Bank OZK in support of SBAC’s Credit Builder Loan Program. This contribution will directly assist small business owners by helping them improve their personal and business credit, which can lead to better loan opportunities and sustainable business growth, positioning them for long-term financial success.

As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), SBAC is committed to expanding economic opportunities to small businesses by providing essential lending solutions and business advisory services. With this donation, SBAC will continue its efforts to offer personalized credit-building support, helping entrepreneurs boost their creditworthiness, and secure financial stability needed to grow their businesses.

SBAC’s Credit Builder Loan Program is available to small business owners in Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. The program consists of bi-monthly credit education workshops, one-on-one credit and business counseling, and a $1,000 credit builder loan offered at 0% interest. The next workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, offered online or in person at 111 E. Liberty Street, Savannah, GA 31401.
