HMTX Industries, a global luxury vinyl tile manufacturer, is partnering with Georgia Tech-Savannah’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) to support literacy programs.

HMTX has provided ongoing support through the provision of scholarships and by providing free books to the hundreds of students in Savannah participating in CEISMC’s 2024 K-12 programs. Carefully selected books are used during the projects by students who take their own copy home with them at the end of the week. The importance of literacy provides the foundation for all academic knowledge and acquired technical skills and the sponsorship of HMTX enhances the impact of the cognitive learning process.

This initiative is exciting as it is a conduit to giving children more opportunities and improves educational levels in the communities we recruit from.”
