SBAC Launches Business Empowerment Workshops for its Small Business Clients

The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) proudly announces the launch of its exclusive new educational program, Social Media Marketing Basics and Beyond. Presented by Nadia Osman of Blue Edge Business Solutions, this six-month program is tailored specifically for SBAC small business clients. The first session kicked off on October 16, 2024, at the SBAC Conference Room, located at 111 E. Liberty St., Savannah, GA.
The Social Media Basics and Beyond workshop is the first offering in SBAC’s Business Empowerment program, a core service provided by the Technical Assistance department. Each program will feature a cohort of 15 participants, offering personalized attention and a supportive learning environment led by an industry expert.
Designed to help participants master social media marketing, the program builds progressively with each session, culminating in a comprehensive and actionable marketing plan tailored to each participant’s business. The program consists of six three-hour sessions, covering topics from setting up social media profiles to advanced strategies like influencer marketing and video content. With sessions held monthly, participants have ample time to apply what they’ve learned and see tangible results.
“We are beyond excited to bring this resource to our clients,” said Kassidy Jones, SBAC’s Business Advisory Services Manager. “Small business owners need to strengthen their online presence, and this program offers hands-on, expert-led training to help them do just that. The energy in the room during our first session was incredible, and we’re confident this program will have a lasting impact on their businesses.”
The program is led by digital marketing expert Nadia Osman of Blue Edge Business Solutions, who provides an in-depth exploration of social media marketing strategies. “This program goes beyond the basics,” Osman explained. “We aim to equip business owners with the tools and confidence to use social media as a powerful marketing tool. From creating engaging content to tracking performance, participants will gain the skills needed to drive real business growth.”
