Official Guides of Savannah (OGS) submitted its client, the Crystal Beer Parlor’s brochure as an entry into Visitor International’s 2024 Best Brochure Competition. The impactful and stylish local restaurant’s brochure was awarded First Place in our region in this prestigious annual contest.

Visitor International, The International Association of Visitor Information Providers, runs an annual ‘Best Brochure’ competition to encourage the effective design of brochures for visitors, and to acknowledge and commend those that produce well-designed, quality visitor brochures. During 2024, from a possible field of 19,000 brochures, representing the collective client base of the association’s membership, brochures were nominated for consideration for the awards. The selection criteria used to both short-list the best brochures, and to select the overall and regional winners, included the visual appeal of the brochure; its effectiveness in communicating to visitors; the brochure’s content, and the quality of the print materials used. Judges were all industry professionals representing visitor information providers from the USA, Canada and Europe.

“Brochures are an essential avenue for delivering vital information and great local experiences directly into the hands of visitors. This award recognizes that having an effective, beautifully designed brochure drives visitors and elevates awareness of the organization’s brand,” said OGS CEO DeAnne Mitchell. “Crystal Beer Parlor’s brochure stood out in this year’s competition, and we are so pleased to have them represent our region with this success.”

“At the Crystal Beer Parlor, we are proud to serve our locals and visitors to our city,” said Crystal Beer Parlor General Manager Paige Brown. “We rely on the effective and targeted distribution of our brochures to help us achieve a greater impact in reaching more visitors so they can enjoy all that we have to offer. It’s an honor to have been selected as a 2024 regional winner.”
