SA Recycling Savannah Staley, one of Georgia’s largest metal recycling facilities, continues their community outreach campaign with a Free Turkey Giveaway to the Tatemville community on Saturday, November 23rd at 1pm-3pm at their 500 Staley Avenue location in Savannah GA.

“A part of our company core values is to have strong relationships in the communities that we operate in. For the past year we have been dedicated to building a bridge between our business with nonprofits, churches and local businesses who share our inclusive goals. We have purchased 150 turkeys from Ogeechee Meat Market, a locally owned Southside business and will distribute turkeys to anyone who needs them,” shares SA Recycling Staley Avenue General Manager Rebecca Seymour. “We want Tatemville and the surrounding communities to know that we are dedicated to being a strong community partner to local residents and businesses.

“As the Fifth District Alderwoman, I have spent the past 13 years representing the largest land mass district in Savannah from Teal Lake to Tatemville. This well established African American community is a close knit family and I am proud to see SA Recycling reach out and give back to the community that they are doing business in. When businesses and local neighborhoods communicate, we strengthen the fabric of our lives and increase the quality of life for all of us,” shares City of Savannah Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Estella Shabazz.
