One of the most beloved concerts of the year returns on Christmas Day.  The Annual Savannah Jazz Christmas Concert will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the JW Marriott’s Plant Riverside District in the beautiful Salzburg Ballroom.   

    “This event is a fundraiser for our education and concert programs.  Our scholarships help rising jazz stars further their talents and our education programs in the Savannah Jazz History and Hall of Fame Exhibit help educate the general public about jazz.  The concert started as a homecoming event for jazz legends who return home for the holidays and get together in an all-star formation to deliver one of the happiest shows of the year,” explains Savannah Jazz’s Executive Director, Paula Fogarty.

    Led by world-renowned trombonist, Teddy Adams, this year’s lineup delivers a big gift of jazz.  Special guests include members of the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame and jazz legends who return home for the holidays. 

    Fogarty adds, “We are thrilled to be back at the stunning J.W. Marriott property on the Savannah River.  It offers a great venue for us to get out of the house, enjoy shopping, dining, and fantastic jazz music, and to help keep it alive in Savannah.  Consider buying tickets for friends and family as holiday gifts!”
