Greenbriar Children’s Center, a non-profit celebrating 75 years of serving children and families in Savannah, announces the opening of its 2024 Gift Wrap Center at The Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah on Tuesday, December 10, at noon.
“The Gift Wrap Center at The Oglethorpe Mall is a long-standing fundraising tradition for Greenbriar Children’s Center,” said Gena P. Taylor, Executive Director of Greenbriar Children’s Center. “We are excited once again to welcome shoppers to our center inside the mall, near Macy’s and Santa.”
The Gift Wrap Center provides shoppers with beautiful wrapping and bows in exchange for a small fee, 100% of which is donated to Greenbriar’s programs for children. The Center will operate through December 24th beginning at noon each day. The Gift Wrap Center is staffed by community volunteers and Greenbriar employees.
“We are in need of volunteers for this annual fundraiser which helps to support our mission to provide quality, affordable early childhood education and care to children 6 weeks to 5 years old; counseling and other support services to at-risk families; and to care for children ages 11-18 who are abused, neglected, runaway and homeless,” added Miss Taylor. “I want to extend our deep appreciation to our sponsors, especially The Oglethorpe Mall and MembersFirst Credit Union, who have been long-time sponsors of this event.”
