Savannah VOICE Festival Presents “A Holiday Classic: An Evening With Liz Baldwin” – Dec. 6

 Savannah VOICE Festival is slated to host “A Holiday Classic: An Evening with Liz Baldwin” at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6.  This event is open to everyone who appreciates the vocal arts and will take place at the First Baptist Church, located at 223 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31401. 

Liz Baldwin, 2024 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medalist and Milnes Opera Award Winner, will be accompanied by Jonathan Murphy on piano for an evening of holiday classics and Savannah surprises.  This concert by these talented artists will be sure to get everyone in the holiday mood and residents and visitors alike are sure to enjoy a special evening.

“It is a thrill to have the enchanting Liz Baldwin back with us for this holiday event,” said Maria Zouves, Co-Founder and President of Sherrill Milnes VOICE Programs. “Her passion and amazing voice will surely launch us into the holiday and celebrate the joy of the season.”

Standard tickets for this event are $45 and $15 for students and members of the military that present valid ID at the door. Children 10 and under can attend for free. Scholarship tickets are also available for patrons to purchase at $250 each to directly support artists who wish to participate in the 2025 Milnes VOICE Programs. Scholarship ticket holders get premium concert seating for the event and a post-concert meet the artist reception.  

The Savannah VOICE Festival was founded in 2013 and takes place every August with a two-week celebration of concerts, events and educational presentations as well as special events throughout the year. Focusing on arts awareness and audience development in the performing arts, it offers music from opera, musical theatre and popular song.
