Expert Hearing has announced the hire of two new employees, Drew Hillis and Clare Barry. 

Drew Hillis recently joined Expert Hearing as a Technician and Patient Care Coordinator. He will be based in the practice’s location at 6602 Waters Avenue, Suite B. A native of Savannah, Drew recently worked with Coastal Care Partners where he served as Community Sales & Outreach. Drew currently sits on the board for the Greater Savannah Coalition on Aging and is also a member of the Ambassador Council with the Savannah Chamber of Commerce. 

Clare Barry joined Expert Hearing in spring 2024 as a Patient Care Coordinator. She is based in Expert Hearing’s Skidaway Island location at 15 Lake Street, Suite 160. Clare is originally from Northeast Georgia and moved to the Savannah area nearly two years ago. Prior to joining Expert Hearing, Clare focused on Geriatric Home Care, specializing in dementia, Alzheimer’s, and hospice care. She is passionate about volunteering with organizations related to Women’s Shelters/Domestic Violence. 

Expert Hearing was founded in August 2023 by Dr. Cori Palmer and Dr. Susan Timna. With a combined experience of over 40 years in the hearing healthcare industry, Expert Hearing provides hearing healthcare services in office and provides a mobile concierge solution. Their services include customized testing to determine how patients hear in noise and in their home environment, extended support hours, scientific based verification on all hearing aid fittings, cognitive screenings as it relates to communication needs, and discounted state of the art hearing technology.
