U.S. News & World Report recognized several online programs at Georgia Southern University among the best in the nation in its 2025 annual rankings report.

Revealing an upward trend, the Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology program maintained its title as the University’s most highly ranked online program by rising to No. 27 in Online Master’s in Criminal Justice Programs. Notably, the University also received a new recognition as No. 62 in Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans.

“The Georgia Southern Online MBA program is a great choice for veterans who often have to balance their education with career and family commitments,” said William Gammon, director of Military and Veteran Services. “This program gives them the opportunity to achieve all of their pursuits.”

The Online MBA made an impressive jump from No. 217 to No. 100 in Online MBA Programs, while a collection of additional programs at the Parker College of Business rose from No. 114 to No. 84 in Best Online Business (non-MBA) Programs. 

The College of Education also claimed its status as No. 85 in Online Master’s in Education Programs.
