Kicklighter Resource Center Awarded $50,000 Grant From Savannah Philanthropic Partners

Kicklighter Resource Center was awarded a $50,000 educational grant by Savannah Philanthropic Partners at the end of 2024. The grant was a part of an overall $80,000 investment by Savannah Philanthropic Partners into Savannah education centers- which included Kicklighter Resource Center and Wesley Community Centers of Savannah. Kicklighter Resource Center Executive Director, Stacey Davis, shared “We are deeply grateful to Savannah Philanthropic Partners for their continued support. This grant will enable us to provide even more children with the high-quality education and care they deserve, particularly as we strive to expand our offerings for children with special needs.”
Kicklighter Resource Center is a Quality Rated child care center and was recently recognized as one of the BEST OF 2024 Savannah service providers. Kicklighter Resource Center provides childcare, support services for children diagnosed with autism and provides ABA certified curriculum and therapy. The center serves children and families across Savannah and Chatham county.
Kicklighter Resource Center was founded in 1951. The mission of Kicklighter Resource Center is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with autism and other developmental and physical disabilities through advocacy, community awareness, family support, and direct programs. Kicklighter Academy is unique in providing young children an inclusive, safe and cooperative learning environment for children with and without disabilities.
