Leigh Bardugo, author of The Familiar, is unable to attend the 18 th Savannah Book Festival due to the Los Angeles fires. The #1 New York Times bestselling author is a resident of Los Angeles.

Bardugo will visit Savannah at a later date. She was originally scheduled to present at Savannah Book Festival’s Festival Saturday on February 8 at The Savannah Theatre.

The 18th Savannah Book Festival kicks off on Thursday, February 6 with its ticketed Headliner Events and runs through Sunday, February 9 in Historic Downtown Savannah. Festival Saturday, which is February 8 with free admission, is the biggest of Savannah Book Festival’s planned events. Festival Saturday starts at 9AM at several downtown venues and features more than 40 renowned authors.
