Savannah Culinary Retreat Announces Ribbon Cutting on February 5th

Savannah Culinary Retreat, comprised of a team of

experienced local chefs who specialize in providing hands-on cooking classes, team building

experiences and private chefs to locals and tourists alike, announces a Ribbon Cutting with the

Savannah Chamber on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at their retreat

location on 175 Penrose Drive, Savannah, GA 31410.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Chamber on our ribbon-cutting event to introduce the public

to what we do,” said Amberley Stewart, Executive Chef at Savannah Culinary Retreat.

“Savannah Culinary Retreat is all about helping others to reach their cooking goals, and building

retreats or classes just for them, their family and friends.”

Savannah Culinary Retreat offers curated 3-4 day retreats on the Savannah coast, within a private

home with an intercoastal dock. Lodging and meals are provided with one evening on your own

for dinner and to explore Historic Savannah and/or Tybee Island. along with a hands-on cocktail

class and a hands-on cooking class. The retreat includes a day trip to learn about coastal

aquaculture first-hand and another day with an evening celebration of low country fare prepared

by Savannah Culinary Retreat chefs.

“An important part of our curriculum is education,” said Chef Stewart. “We like to introduce our

guests to where their food comes from-whether it is touring an oyster hatchery or going on a boat

trawl collecting tour. This makes our program truly unique to the Low Country and Coastal

Empire area.”

The ribbon-cutting event will provide information on the multitude of classes offered by

Savannah Culinary Retreat. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will also be provided.
