location on 175 Penrose Drive, Savannah, GA 31410.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Chamber on our ribbon-cutting event to introduce the public
to what we do,” said Amberley Stewart, Executive Chef at Savannah Culinary Retreat.
“Savannah Culinary Retreat is all about helping others to reach their cooking goals, and building
retreats or classes just for them, their family and friends.”
Savannah Culinary Retreat offers curated 3-4 day retreats on the Savannah coast, within a private
home with an intercoastal dock. Lodging and meals are provided with one evening on your own
for dinner and to explore Historic Savannah and/or Tybee Island. along with a hands-on cocktail
class and a hands-on cooking class. The retreat includes a day trip to learn about coastal
aquaculture first-hand and another day with an evening celebration of low country fare prepared
by Savannah Culinary Retreat chefs.
“An important part of our curriculum is education,” said Chef Stewart. “We like to introduce our
guests to where their food comes from-whether it is touring an oyster hatchery or going on a boat
trawl collecting tour. This makes our program truly unique to the Low Country and Coastal
Empire area.”
The ribbon-cutting event will provide information on the multitude of classes offered by
Savannah Culinary Retreat. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will also be provided.
