Savannah Downtown Business Association Names Mia Mance as Executive Director

The Savannah Downtown Business Association has named Mia Mance as the new Executive Director. Mia Mance, owner of Mia Talks Media and Marketing, brings small business ownership expertise, with over a decade of community advocacy and collaboration across Savannah. In addition, Mia Mance has a 20+ year marketing and media background including most recently serving as Program Director and Public Service Director with DBC Radio Savannah- Hilton Head and community news host with WJCL ABC 22. Savannah Downtown Business Association Board President Julie Wade shared “Mia has the skill set, connections, advocacy and business background to really grow the impact of the Savannah Downtown Business Association and serve as a big voice to the needs of downtown Savannah”.
Mia Mance began working with the Savannah Downtown Business Association January 1, 2025 with transitional support from former Executive Director Brooke Goth. Mia Mance shared,“The Savannah Downtown Business Association offers a united space for business owners to feel supported, connected, grow their business and have an advocate with SDBA to navigate everything from business support, to city or state issues that could impact their business”. The Savannah Downtown Business Association programming for 2025 includes: January 16th Business Behind the Scenes at Service Brewing, February 12th Networking Luncheon spotlighting the needs of Black business owners in downtown Savannah, Savannah Culinary Festival February 20th- March 2nd and Business Behind the Scenes St.Patrick’s Celebration in March.
