SCCPSS Executive Director of Communications Stacy Jennings Named 2025 Women Who Rule Woman of the Year

Stacy Jennings, Executive Director of Communications for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School District, has been named Woman of the Year for 2025 by United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Women Who Rule Campaign.  Prior to her current role, Stacy served as Director of Marketing at the Savannah Morning News/Savannah Evening Press. She holds a BA in English from the Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University. Since moving to Savannah in 1985, she has been an active community member, serving on numerous boards and committees.

The United Way of the Coastal Empire made the announcement of her Woman of the Year selection earlier this month, saying. “Stacy has been a dedicated United Way leader, supporter, advocate, and volunteer for many years, embodying the spirit of service and empowerment that Women Who Rule celebrates.” For more than 33 years, Stacy has been a dedicated United Way of the Coastal Empire supporter, serving on the Board of Directors, Marketing Committee (Marketing Chair), Campaign Cabinet, and as a Loaned Executive. She currently serves on the Marketing Committee and has for decades.

The Women Who Rule event, hosted by United Way WOMEN UNITED®, supports the Women United Transportation Fund. This vital fund helps women and caregivers overcome transportation barriers, ensuring they can access work, education, healthcare, and other essential services.

The annual Women Who Rule Luncheon will be held March 4th at the Savannah Convention Center.
