ABC Waste Inc., a locally-owned waste management company based in Savannah, recently announced the addition of portable restrooms to its lineup of services and the hiring of Scott Thompson as director of operations. These additions come as part of ABC Waste’s acquisition of Scotty's Pottys & Dumpsters.

ABC Waste is family-owned and has been serving the Savannah area since 1956. The company’s existing range of waste management services includes residential trash and recycling collection, commercial waste collection, roll-off dumpster rental, and glass recycling. 

“ABC Waste has always prided itself on reliable service and looks forward to tackling another one of Savannah's ‘dirty jobs,’" says General Manager Charles Stewart. “Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for all of our customers' waste needs.”

Scott Thompson brings over 20 years of local business experience as the owner of Scotty's Pottys & Dumpsters, where he established a reputation for excellence in customer satisfaction. As director of operations for ABC Waste, he will lead efforts to grow the company and expand its customer base. 

“Scott has a wealth of knowledge from being the founder of Scotty’s Pottys to founding and growing Thompson & Thompson Service Group to a staff of over 50 employees,” says Stewart. “When we were discussing the next chapter of ABC Waste we thought to ourselves, ‘We know trash. We've been doing it for 70 years,’ and what we needed was someone who knew how to problem solve, learn, and be an entrepreneur within our company to help with the things we don't know.”
