Over the course of two days, attendees will experience a thoughtfully curated program that blends education, advocacy, and connection. The event kicks off on Sunday, February 9, with presentations emphasizing Effingham’s focus on growth and collaboration, including a presentation from County Manager Tim Callanan, who will outline Effingham’s ongoing infrastructure investments and future transportation priorities. His discussion will cover the strategic initiatives driving growth and preparing the county for expanded opportunities. This session sets the tone for the event by focusing on the collaborative efforts fueling Effingham’s success.

Additionally, key leaders, including Representative Bill Hitchens and Representative Ron Stephens, will discuss tourism initiatives and strategies to position Effingham as a premier destination in Georgia. The day concludes with a welcome reception presented by Thomas & Hutton.

The second day will focus on engaging directly with state leaders. Attendees will start the day with a visit to GDOT Headquarters to discuss infrastructure and transportation priorities vital to Effingham’s continued growth. Lunch will feature addresses from influential state leaders on topics like public health, economic development, and legislative initiatives. The day's highlight will be the Georgia House legislative session, where a resolution will be presented recognizing Effingham County’s collaborative efforts and achievements.

The event will conclude with a legislative reception hosted by Ameris Bank, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to network with policymakers in an informal setting. This reception underscores the importance of fostering meaningful connections to ensure that Effingham County’s voice is heard at the state level.
