As COO, Clanton will serve on the executive leadership team, managing the day-to-day operations for each practice, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care. Clanton will provide leadership in the key areas of financial and business performance, team leadership and development, and quality assurance. He will also drive the adoption of technology and innovative solutions, and support the CEO in developing and executing the DSO’s growth and expansion strategy.

A native of Savannah, Clanton comes to Godley Station Dental from South Coast Medical Group where he served as Director of Operations Multispecialty Group. He earned his Master of Public Administration and his Bachelor of Science in political science degrees from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro. Clanton brings more than 25 years of experience implementing financial controls to drive overall corporate performance and improve processes. During his career, he has served as a practice administrator in various hospital and healthcare settings, including St. Joseph’s/Candler Medical Group, Urological Associates of Savannah and Urological Surgery Center of Savannah, and Memorial Health. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Olivia and Andrew. They reside on Wilmington Island.
