Andrew (Andy) Conn, J.D., an award-winning plaintiff’s attorney who has secured multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients for the past decade, recently opened Conn Law in Savannah, Ga., serving clients in a wide range of practice areas.

“At Conn Law, we focus on complex legal cases involving catastrophic harm or death and take a limited number of cases so we can focus on each client and the unique challenges each case presents,” Conn explains. “When we take a case, it’s because we are fully committed to guiding the client from start to finish with the utmost care and dedication.”

Conn is an experienced attorney specializing in complex cases covering a wide range of legal issues and practice areas. Prior to starting Conn Law, he spent a decade at a renowned high-stakes trial firm in Georgia, where he played a key role in fighting for justice for clients in the courtroom and beyond, including securing nearly $20 million in verdicts and post-judgment attorneys’ fees in a wrongful death medical malpractice lawsuit. He has been honored as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star for 10 consecutive years in areas ranging from medical malpractice to products liability and earned a J.D. with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law as well as a B.B.A. from University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

A dedicated member of the legal community, Conn is actively involved in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), the State Bar of Georgia, the Attorneys Information Exchange Group (AIEG), the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association (STLA). He currently serves on the Executive Committee of GTLA as the Directed Giving Co-Chair and has previously served on GTLA’s Executive Committee as the LEAD Co-Chair, Membership Chair, Education Chair, New Lawyers Division Chair and Judicial Liaison Chair. Since 2018, he also served on the Civil Justice PAC’s Board, which is Georgia’s largest political action committee, and currently serves as the organization’s Vice Chair. In 2015, within the first year of obtaining his bar license, he was selected for the GTLA LEAD Program, where he developed his leadership abilities and advocated for trial policies that protect individuals’ rights.

Passionate about fighting for children, Conn currently serves on the Board of Brightside Child and Family Advocacy in Savannah (formerly Chatham County CASA), an organization that is dedicated to fighting for the rights of children and adolescents in foster care in Chatham County. He has also volunteered with Make-A-Wish Georgia and is deeply involved with the Kids Cancer Alliance, a non-profit organization in Louisville, Ky. that creates meaningful experiences for children battling cancer and their families. He also participates in the CJA program, providing legal representation to indigent court-appointed clients in Georgia’s Southern District Federal Court.

“In the courtroom and in my volunteer work, I’ve dedicated my life to righting wrongs and representing the interests of individuals who need an advocate,” Conn explains. “I think it’s important to bring this focus and level of attention to every case and every client we represent at Conn Law.”
