Bouhan Falligant Partner Greg Finch Nominated For ‘LLS Visionaries Of The Year’
Tuesday, March 4th, 2025
Greg Finch, partner at Savannah-based law firm Bouhan Falligant LLP, has been selected as a candidate and will participate in a 10-week philanthropic competition for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Visionaries of the Year campaign. On February 27th, Finch’s fundraising campaign kicks off today, aiming to raise $100,000 to support LLS.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Visionaries of the Year campaign is a philanthropic competition for leaders in local communities across the United States. Candidates and their team members raise funds for LLS in honor of local blood cancer survivors, our Honored Heroes. The title "Visionary of the Year" is awarded to the candidate whose team raises the most funds during the competition. The top Visionaries of the Year candidate in the country is awarded with the national title.
Finch has named his campaign team the “Cancer Fight Club,” putting a twist on the film Fight Club’s tagline by aiming to “talk about cancer as much as possible.” He hopes to raise particular awareness about the importance of patient support in the fight against cancer.
“I have seen firsthand from working with kids’ cancer organizations the profound impact that support of loved ones, friends, siblings, and strangers can have as these brave children fight the toughest battle of their life, both for the kids and their families,” says Greg Finch. “It truly takes a village, and the personal impact that support, funding, and community has is truly instrumental.”
Finch’s nomination for Visionaries of the Year Savannah is a fitting addition to the philanthropic work he does regularly; he has volunteered with and been recognized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Football Without Borders, the American Heart Association, Kids Cancer Alliance, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and more.
Finch is a partner with Bouhan Falligant’s litigation team. He focuses his practice primarily on medical malpractice and professional liability, nursing home and long-term care, transportation and logistics, and product liability. Originally from Crestwood, Kentucky, he is actively involved in serving his community in Savannah and his home state. He also stays engaged with his alma mater, Transylvania University, through its student mentor program.
Visionaries of the Year, formerly known as Man and Woman of the Year, is a philanthropic competition for highly motivated community leaders. Candidates and their team members raise funds for LLS in honor of local blood cancer survivors. The Visionaries of the Year Savannah campaign runs from February 27 to May 10, culminating in a grand finale celebration at which the 2025 LLS Heroes—Tash, 8, and Micki, 5—will be honored.
