The Creative Coast, Savannah's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from Bank of America. The grant will help fund SPARK Savannah, the entrepreneurial accelerator program that The Creative Coast announced earlier this week.

"Bank of America's generous investment in our startup ecosystem represents more than just funding—it's a powerful vote of confidence in Savannah's entrepreneurial future,” says Nick Palumbo, Executive Director of The Creative Coast. “This partnership allows us to expand our vital work connecting, supporting, and developing innovative entrepreneurs who are building tomorrow's economy. Together, we're creating pathways to success for entrepreneurs across Coastal Georgia and strengthening our region's economic resilience."

SPARK Savannah is an intensive, in-person, 12-week accelerator beginning April 8, 2025, and will be hosted at the Deloitte Foundry - SCAD’s cutting-edge design, research, and innovation studio. Fifteen entrepreneurs with businesses less than three years old will be selected for this no-cost, high-value program that demands rigorous weekly participation with exceptional results.

“Bank of America is committed to supporting the creation, resiliency and growth of small businesses,” said Patrick O'Neil, president, Bank of America Savannah. “Partnering with The Creative Coast builds skills, networks, and experience to prepare entrepreneurs for success and ultimately strengthen the city of Savannah and the region.”

These grants are part of Bank of America’s commitment to responsible growth as it works to improve the financial lives of individuals, families, and entire communities. Philanthropic and volunteer investments continue to play a key role in this effort to build thriving communities.
