Genesis and Genesis Inspiration Foundation recently supported education initiatives in Coastal Georgia, home of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. Genesis Gives, the corporate social responsibility initiative of Genesis Motor America, hosted a science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) workshop from Child Creativity Lab at Bryan County Middle School. Genesis Inspiration Foundation, a 501©(3) organization focused on supporting youth arts education programs, donated $50,000 to the Savannah Children's Theatre.
"Genesis is committed to investing in the future generation of leaders by supporting educational opportunities that enrich and inspire young minds," said Brandon Ramirez, director, corporate social responsibility, Genesis Motor America. "We are proud to continue offering STEAM workshops in Bryan County so that students can experience the type of creativity and planning process that goes behind designing vehicles at Genesis. Additionally, the Genesis Inspiration Foundation is honored to donate to the Savannah Children's Theatre for its arts education programs that cultivate a passion for learning."
Genesis Inspiration Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2018 with the mission of increasing children's access to the arts throughout the country, made a donation to the Savannah Children's Theatre to support its arts education programming. The mission of the Savannah Children's Theatre is to inspire, educate, and entertain children and families through the experience of live theatre both on and off stage. Through school field trips, after school programs, and community theatre productions, students can experience live theatre in a fun, inclusive, and diverse atmosphere.
Genesis' corporate social responsibility initiative, Genesis Gives, hosted a STEAM workshop from Child Creativity Lab that introduces children to new ideas in mobility while intertwining knowledge of the automotive industry and Genesis' role in utilizing clean energy. The workshop held at Bryan County Middle School allowed students to learn about the Genesis product planning process followed by a look at the GV60 SUV. Afterwards, students developed their own future mobility concepts using upcycled materials.
