Georgia Taxpayers Could Receive Up to $500 in Tax Rebates

A $1 billion tax rebate for Georgia residents is one step closer to reality after both chambers of the state legislature approved HB 112. The bill now awaits Gov. Brian Kemp's signature, which is expected in the coming days.
If signed into law, this will mark the third consecutive year of tax rebates for Georgians, continuing the state's trend of returning surplus funds directly to taxpayers.
