Savannah Fire Department Welcomes New Engines

The Savannah Fire Department welcomed three new engines to its fleet. The new Sutphen engines will soon serve the City of Savannah and help with response times.
“It’s going to more or less help firefighters get all the equipment they need on scene within four minutes,” said Savannah Fire Chief Elzie Kitchen. “We’ve been doing that consistently; however, this will make it more efficient.”
