Savannah St. Patrick's Planning Features Increased Public Safety Efforts

St. Patrick's Day in Savannah is known for its festive parade and penchant for parties.
But for the city of Savannah and its public safety partners, it's the biggest planning event for the city each year. Public safety is a major priority for city officials, particularly as this year's celebration comes on the heels of a mass-casualty attack during New Orleans' New Years celebrations that killed 15 people and injured more than 30 others.
