Elevate Savannah recently held their event, “Girls of Impact: Empowering Teen Girls to Be the Change We Need to See,” to inspire and empower teenage girls to recognize their potential as leaders and change-makers in their communities.

The event took place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the West Broad YMCA, with a theme focused on leadership, community service, and personal development. “Girls of Impact” brought together influential women leaders, community mentors, and passionate teen girls for a day of inspiration, learning, and growth. Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, and motivational speeches, this event empowered participants to embrace their leadership abilities and use them to create positive change in their schools, neighborhoods, and beyond.

“Girls of Impact is more than just an event—it’s a movement to empower young women with the confidence, knowledge, and leadership skills they need to shape their futures and their communities,” said Crystal Auguste, Executive Director for Elevate Savannah. “At Elevate Savannah, we believe in investing in the next generation of leaders, and this event creates a space where girls can see their potential, learn from inspiring role models, and leave feeling motivated to make a difference. It’s incredible to witness their energy and excitement as they realize that they, too, have the power to lead and create change.”
