City Invites Public Input on Design and Selection of New Utility Billing Platform

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Thursday, June 26th, 2025

The City of Savannah’s Utility Billing Department invites the public to provide input through a survey that will guide the selection of a new customer-friendly online utility billing and payment platform.

The survey can be found at savannahga.gov/utilitysurvey. Input will be received through Tuesday, July 15.

The new billing platform will emphasize ease of use, real-time access to billing information, and an overall improved user experience. Residents and business owners are encouraged to participate and help prioritize the features most important to them.

Input collected through the survey will directly inform the design and selection of the new billing portal, ensuring it reflects the needs and preferences of the community it serves.

“This is just one of several customer-focused initiatives, aligned with our City’s forthcoming strategic plan and its emphasis on Savannah’s commitment to elevating municipal service standards,” Director of Utility Services Robert Boyce said. “Our goal is to give the citizens a chance to make their voice known and heard.”

The brief survey is open to all City of Savannah water service customers. Those who prefer a paper copy or have questions may contact the City’s 311 Customer Service Center.
