Historic Savannah Foundation and the Davenport House Museum are pleased to announce the continuation of the popular Artisan Spotlight Series, which showcases immersive, creative workshops at the revitalized Historic Kennedy Pharmacy, located at 323 E. Broughton St. in Savannah Ga. The Artisan Spotlight Series, which originally launched in Spring 2024, offers engaging, hands-on events and provides a dynamic platform for artists and artisans to share their creative processes with local residents and visitors.
“Our Artisan Spotlight Series offers exciting opportunities for creative expression with talented local artists working in a wide range of media,” said Davenport House Museum Executive Director Danielle Hodes, who organizes the Artisan Spotlight Series. “Our summer and fall workshops will focus on heirloom techniques, like metalworking, broom making and macramé.”
