Jim 'N Nick’s Community Bar-B-Q (JNN), known for award-winning barbecue, Southern hospitality and supporting the communities it serves, celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Savannah today at 7822 Abercorn Street. Savannah public officials, including 4th District Alderman for the City of Savannah Nick Palumbo, Director Visitor Information Centers, Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee Kelli Lee, Ambassador Representative for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce George Freeman and the Bananas Foster Program Coordinator Jolie Chabala, gathered to celebrate the new restaurant.

The new Savannah location features a quick-casual+ dining style, allowing for fast customer service while providing the same award-winning barbecue, hospitality and community-oriented atmosphere that have been cornerstones of the brand for decades.

“We are thrilled to be in Savannah,” said Jon Kowalkowski, Jim ‘N Nick’s local owner. “The warm welcome we have already received from this community has been incredible, and we are excited to keep sharing our signature barbeque with our new neighbors.”

To further celebrate the new location and serve as a strong community advocate, Jim ‘N Nick’s Savannah partnered with Bananas Foster to raise $2,500 for the organization at its recent family and friends’ weekend.

“We are deeply grateful to the Jim ‘N Nick’s team for their generous donation,” said Jolie Chabala, program coordinator of Bananas Foster. The commitment to supporting the community aligns perfectly with Jim ‘N Nick’s mission to provide resources and connections to those in need.

The brand plans to open several additional locations over the next 12 months. Jim ‘N Nick’s is eager to bring new team members on board to continue its mission of treating customers like family.
