Cecilia Russo Marketing, an award-winning full-service marketing and public relations firm based in Savannah, Ga., announces the successful completion of its summer internship program, highlighting the contributions of intern Jessica Tilton. Over the past seven weeks, Tilton, a rising senior at the University of South Carolina, gained significant experience, including involvement with the Leadership Southeast Georgia (LSEGA) administrative team. 

Tilton's internship provided hands-on experience in marketing and public relations. She contributed to client initiatives and media outreach, developing skills in project management and client communication. Her responsibilities included creating social media content, conducting market research, revising web copy and assisting with events that fostered community and media engagement.

A key highlight of Tilton's summer was her close collaboration with the LSEGA administrative team. This opportunity allowed her to understand the balance required to execute the program, with her efforts often extending beyond Savannah to encompass Coastal Georgia. This exposure to different markets provided a deeper understanding of regional communication strategies.

This summer, Tilton was among many students who benefited from the broader network facilitated by InternSAV and the Savannah Area Chamber. Their goal is to connect student talent with employment opportunities in the Greater Savannah area. Through InternSAV and resources like the Succeed in Savannah job board, an initiative is underway to link students from across the country with Savannah's career landscape, fostering growth for both emerging talent and the community.
