Hussey Gay Bell Expands Savannah Architectural Studio with Addition of Thompson

 Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the addition of Marianna Thompson as an architectural associate in the firm’s Savannah office. Thompson brings focused expertise in transit-oriented architectural design, with a portfolio that includes major transportation infrastructure projects such as MARTA station renovations, the Newark Airport AirTrain, Penn Station renovation, and the Boston Red Line reconstruction. She holds a Master of Architecture from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. As part of her academic training, Thompson also studied urban design in Barcelona, Spain, through the Summer Studio and Study Abroad Program. In recognition of her design talent and professional promise, she was named to the 2025 Metropolis Future 100—an annual distinction honoring the top architecture and design graduate students in North America.
