The Rotary Club of Metropolitan Savannah recently inducted its new slate of leadership for the 2025-2026 year at its July 15 meeting and is proud to announce its new Club President, George Seaborough. This year’s board spans the gamut, bringing back several founding members, as well as a handful of members who have been in the club fewer than two years.

Metro Savannah Rotary Embraces 2025 Theme: Unite For Good

George Seaborough, President of Metro Savannah Rotary, is inspired by this year’s theme and says “Rotary is a leading advocate for positive change, and Metro Savannah is proud to embrace and promote the theme set forth by Rotary International for the year,” said Seaborough. “Unite for Good reflects the power of collective action and shared purpose. In a time when division can often overshadow unity, this theme calls us to come together in service, compassion, and community-building.”

Metro Savannah Rotary invites individuals, businesses, and community leaders to join in this year’s efforts to strengthen connection and create lasting impact in Savannah. By working together—united in purpose and grounded in goodwill—the club believes we can build a more inclusive, resilient, and hopeful community for all.

George is passionate about community service and has been an active member of Metropolitan Savannah Rotary since 2020. He currently serves as President of the club and is also the Executive Director of Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy. As a Rotarian, George has chaired the Interact Club Committee, helped establish a Rotaract Club at Savannah State University, and chaired the Program Committee.
