Savannah Downtown Business Association Presents Donation to Support Savannah Police Department’s Back to School Bash
Friday, July 18th, 2025
The Savannah Downtown Business Association is proud to announce a $1,000 donation to the Savannah Police Department in support of its upcoming Back to School Bash. This contribution was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of SDBA members who supported the SDBA Gives raffle series at association events throughout the year. The SPD's Back to School Bash will take place on Saturday, August 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SIP, 2005 Waters Avenue. Community members are invited to attend and join in the celebration. Donations of school supplies and other essentials are still needed and greatly appreciated as families prepare for the new school year. The SDBA is especially grateful to the dedicated men and women of the Savannah Police Department and all area law enforcement for their ongoing service to the community. By standing together, we build a safer, stronger, and more united Savannah.
