Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Savannah VOICE Festival (SVF) is proud to present "Everything: A Classical Cabaret with Maria Zouves," scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 8. The performance will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church, located on Troup Square at 311 E. Harris Street. Please note that the venue was changed from District Live to the Unitarian Universalist Church.

Maria Zouves, joined by some of Savannah's leading musicians with pianist and arranger Assaf Gleizner at the helm, will perform beloved Broadway, soft rock, and cabaret songs from her newly released album entitled, "Everything." Maria and her band promise to help you "Get Happy" and take you "Over the Rainbow" with her rich vocal color, pop-style versatility, and Mediterranean madness. Expect a night of true cabaret fun as she "rocks it like Benatar and belts it like Barbra." Zouves will be accompanied by Marc Chesanow on bass, Aaron Jennings on percussion, Ricardo Ochoa on violin, and Andrew Sovine on guitar.

This one-night-only cabaret experience highlights the wide artistic reach of the Savannah VOICE Festival and its commitment to celebrating diverse vocal performance. The evening promises to be both intimate and entertaining, bridging the gap between classical training and contemporary charm. Festival patrons can anticipate an engaging program that honors tradition while embracing bold new directions.

“I am beyond thrilled to be bringing my Cabaret event from New York to the patrons in Savannah,” said Zouves. “It's a joy to be able to share these stories through song.”

Tickets for the Cabaret start at $42.50 for standard seating and $68.50 for premium seating. Maria Zouves' album, "Everything," will be available for purchase at the event and can also be bought or streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, or Amazon Music. Sales from the album will directly support artist scholarships through their nonprofit organizations within the Sherrill Milnes VOICE Programs.
