Savannah's Candy Kitchen Scoops Up Support for P.A.C.K. Savannah on National Ice Cream Day
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025
For over three decades, Savannah's Candy Kitchen has delighted generations with its signature handcrafted Southern confections and today continues that tradition by dedicating a portion of its National Ice Cream Day sales to P.A.C.K. Savannah, an organization providing meals and essentials to local children. On Sunday, July 20, 2025, all Savannah's Candy Kitchen locations will donate 10% of ice cream sales to the non-profit.
Participating Savannah's Candy Kitchen locations include its River Street and City Market stores in Savannah, Ga. as well as locations in National Harbor, Md., and Nashville, Tenn. This initiative celebrates National Ice Cream Day while giving back to the Savannah community that has supported the company for decades. P.A.C.K. Savannah is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to meeting the basic needs of children in the local Savannah community, providing thousands of weekend meal bags each week to food-insecure children through area schools and community centers. They also offer support programs like the PACK Cottage and PACK Boutique for vulnerable children.
"We're thrilled to celebrate National Ice Cream Day by supporting P.A.C.K. Savannah. Our customers love our ice cream, and this is a sweet way for them to enjoy a treat while contributing to a wonderful cause that makes a real difference in the lives of children," said Rhett Strickland, co-owner of Savannah's Candy Kitchen.
Customers can contribute to the donation by purchasing any ice cream product at any Savannah's Candy Kitchen location on July 20.
